Hazel is a simplified analogue of the Automator application, which is built into the system. It is designed to automate actions with files based on conditions. If one or all conditions are met, the program performs the specified actions.
For example, if you regularly download clipart for design and sound files for video recordings, the application can automatically move them from “Downloads” and put them into thematic folders “Cliparts” and “Sounds”.
The program will also offer to delete files that you have not used for a long time, make a backup copy of documents with a mark in the name, clear the desktop at a specified time - all this is just a small list of its capabilities.
