About

If you are involved in layout and/or web development on Mac, then the release of Coda 2 should not go unnoticed for you. The Coda 2 package offers web developers more than 100 new features, many of which have long been expected by users and have been heating up the development company's support. The editor is fully compatible with the 64-bit runtime environment and has a significantly improved interface.

The product is positioned as a universal toolkit for managing all aspects of web applications. In particular, the Coda 2 environment includes a code editor, a terminal, and tools for managing CSS styles and files on websites.

Coda understands 23 programming languages, among which, of course, are the popular HTML, Java, Ruby, PHP, Python, SQL, XML, CSS and others. The editor can also be configured for a specific language in order to work in the most comfortable conditions. Working with the code is very convenient. Coda 2, like most editors, supports code highlighting. The most useful property of the program is that it knows all the containers, most functions, parameters and understands the syntax perfectly. Coda 2 has an excellent multi-window file manager. In one window you can work with local resources, in the next window with remote ones. The logic for working with files was borrowed from Transmit, which is deservedly considered one of the most convenient file managers.
