About

Quiver is a notebook designed for programmers. It allows you to easily mix text, code, Markdown and LaTeX in one note, edit code with an amazing code editor, view real-time Markdown and LaTeX, and instantly find any note with full-text search.

Features:
- Mix text with code
- A note in Quiver consists of cells
- snippets of text, code, Markdown, LaTeX (via MathJax) or diagrams (sequence diagram, flowchart). You can freely mix different cell types in one note. You can also set different languages for different code cells.

- Excellent code editor
- Programmer's Notepad should make editing code easier. Quiver packs the stunning ACE code editor into code cells with syntax highlighting for 120+ languages, 20+ themes, automatic indentation and indentation, and more.

- Markdown support
- Quiver allows you to write in Markdown with built-in formatting and custom CSS options. The preview window displays Markdown as you type.

- LaTex support
- Quiver uses MathJax to type mathematical equations written in LaTeX. Please note that MathJax does not provide a complete LaTeX environment. Only math mode macros are supported.

- Images, files and links
- Drag an image into a text cell and it will be saved locally along with your note. Drag a file into a text cell and it will become a clickable link to the file. URLs in text cells are detected automatically.

- Instant full text search
- Notes are only useful if you can find them quickly. Quiver's full-text search is powered by Search Kit, the same technology used to power Spotlight on your Mac. Here's how Quiver can instantly search through thousands of notes.

- Beautiful, Fully Customizable Themes

- Presentation Mode
- Quiver provides a full-screen presentation mode for your notes. This is great for classroom use, group meetings, presentations, and also for reviewing notes on your own.

- Autosave
- Quiver automatically saves all your changes as you work, so you don't have to worry about losing your changes.

- Plain JSON data format
- Quiver saves all your data in simple JSON files. These data files are located on your local computer. You can easily export your notes to various formats such as HTML and PDF.

- Integrations
- Quiver does not block you. It stores data in a well-documented, simple JSON format. So it's easy to write scripts to integrate Quiver Notes with other tools you use. Common scripts are provided on the Quiver documentation site.

- Cloud Sync
- Quiver allows you to sync all your notes across multiple computers via Dropbox, iCloud Drive, Google Drive or any other cloud file services.

- Versioning
- Since Quiver stores all data in simple JSON files, it's easy to put an entire library (or a single notebook) under version control. This is another way to collaborate with your team.
