About
LilyView is a universal program for viewing images in the Mac OS environment. The utility is an excellent alternative to the standard viewer (Preview), which in turn has limited functionality and an inconvenient control interface. Unlike many similar applications, this program does not have cumbersome filters, and also does not contain a variety of tools for improving photos. In fact, it does not even have a graphical interface with additional options and buttons. At the same time, the very principle of operation of LilyView has much in common with the classic viewer in Windows OS: when opening an image, the user sees only a picture that can be enlarged or rotated using a trackpad, mouse or keyboard. There is also a gesture system for quickly navigating through a collection of images. Moreover, when moving from one picture to another, a beautiful transparency effect is applied by default. The program supports all the most popular image formats, including JPEG, PNG, TIFF and GIF animations. A complete list of available formats is presented in the very first tab (Preferences item). In the application settings (View section) you can set automatic zoom to display pictures in a window or across the entire width of the screen. There is also a separate option to view the photo in its original size. The Browse tab will help you quickly move to the first or last image in the directory. To go to full screen mode, you need to double-tap on the image. To view the attributes of a photo, just move the cursor to the right side of the screen.
