Use an outline to structure new ideas and stories, organize the structure of a document, or create a well-designed document with built-in themes. It's more than just an organization tool - you have multiple columns, smart checkboxes, drop-down lists, and a styling system at your disposal.
These tools are ideal for developing simple lists, creating a meeting outline, taking meeting notes, event planning, diaries, scripts, or any other task that involves creating structured text.
PRO VERSION FEATURES
• Filters: create and save complex filters based on state, column data, and logical operations.
• Password Encryption: Password protect your document to encrypt it using AES-256.
• Sliding sidebars: In full screen mode, moving the pointer to the edge of the screen temporarily displays the sidebar.
• Style Preview: Displays a preview of the style being inspected at the top of the inspector.
• Focus Multiple Rows: Focus multiple selected items in the section sidebar using Command-clicks.
• Size column to content: Select a column and click Fit in the Column Type inspector, and OmniOutliner will automatically resize the column width to fit the content.
• Entering column widths: In the column inspector, you can now specify its width. You can also choose to automatically resize when you resize the window.
• Keyboard shortcuts: Customize shortcuts to suit your needs.
• Export to Excel: Export in Excel (xlsx) format.
