About
VectorStyler provides a complete set of drawing, design and illustration tools needed for modern design. With numerous new features, VectorStyler redefines and expands the tools available to illustrators and designers, improving the creation of complex illustrations and designs.
Create and edit non-destructive shape effects for objects or groups of objects. Shape effects can be used to adjust the shape of objects, create various distortions, or add detail to shapes. Shape effect parameters can be edited interactively on the canvas. Use parametric distortion effects to change the shape of objects. Create a mesh, envelope, or elastic warp effect to fine-tune warp distortion. Create dynamic shape offsets and edit offset distances interactively on the canvas. Use the Shape Effects panel to create and edit multiple effects on selected objects.
Add live effects to vector objects and groups. Choose from over 100 picture effects, each with multiple options. Picture effects are non-destructive and can be changed or removed at any time. Interactively adjust image effect settings on canvas for greater visual control. Image effects can be created and edited using the Image Effects panel. All image effects are live, and vector objects and shapes remain editable. Combine multiple image effects to create custom filter compositions. Import and use SVG filter compositions directly from the Image Effects panel.
Create and edit real vector brushes. The contents of a vector brush are a collection of editable vector objects stretched across a shape using different types of brushes. All types of Adobe Illustrator brushes can be imported and fully used in VectorStyler. Vector brushes can be of 4 types: Artistic, Pattern, Scatter or Bristle brushes. In Art Brushes, a group of vector objects is stretched along a shape, where the stretch is controlled by brush settings. Vector brushes can be combined with calligraphy pen options and variable width profiles to control brush width.
Customize rich text formatting with text frames or dotted text. Text can be placed within multiple linked frames, across multiple artboards, and canvases. Text frames can contain multiple columns, and the columns can be balanced. Place text in and around any shape. Use the multi-line paragraph builder for optimal paragraph-width text layout. Align dotted text to an anchored path, updating text positions as the path changes. Use the Node tool to directly adjust the baseline of dotted text in any shape and create text on outline effects. Create and edit right-to-left or bidirectional (Unicode) text.
Apply color filters to vector objects, adjusting color fills, outlines, gradients, and other color attributes of objects without converting to raster images. The colors used in the vectors are adjusted directly and remain editable. Replace colors by using advanced color matching rules or by matching them to colors in another document. Paint objects with random colors or using colors from the palette.Use advanced path and shape editing tools to create and edit illustrations. You can adjust settings for shapes such as rectangles, polygons, or ellipses directly using the Detail tool or in the Shape panel. Use the Shape Builder tool to combine, merge, intersect, or merge pieces from multiple shapes. Create Shape Paint groups to define fill and stroke styles for areas defined by multiple shapes, and keep them dynamically updated as the shapes change.
VectorStyler provides several snapping options to improve the precise shape and positioning of an object. Collision snapping uses collisions between moving objects and two other shapes to precisely position objects where they touch the shapes or at a specified distance. Object snapping (smart guides) also takes document view rotation into account when aligning object positions and distances.
