If you have ever used the built-in macOS screen capture tool—or any other screenshot utility—you will find working with Initiator effortless.Simply use your mouse to select any portion of an image, photo, document, or anything else on your screen; the app will then process and recognize any text contained within that selection.The captured screen area—along with any text within it—is instantly recognized and copied to your clipboard or displayed in a small pop-up window.For screenshots containing text, convert them into editable text files or copy the text to your clipboard for pasting elsewhere.Alternatively, simply save the selected area as an image file.
Additionally, the application supports text recognition from PNG, JPG, JPEG, BMP, TIFF, and PSD files, converting them into plain text.All conversions and screenshot captures are performed securely and locally on your device;none of your images or text data are ever sent to any third-party cloud services.
