Applight is a revolutionary next-generation app switching tool designed to optimize users' app experiences with context and simplify the process by predicting the next app they're most likely to use. In daily computer use, switching applications is a common task, but existing methods such as using the Dock, Command-Tab shortcuts, or Spotlight search often have limitations and cannot fully take into account the context of users switching applications.
Applight enables smarter app prediction by analyzing users' usage habits. By simply pressing a modifier key of the user's choosing, Applight displays a list of applications that may be required in the current context, with the most recently used applications appearing at the top of the list so the user can instantly return to them with a single click. Users can quickly select a target app by typing one or two letters or pressing a number key, and instantly open the selected app by releasing the modifier key. Additionally, if the user prefers to use the cursor to switch applications, Applight also provides suggestions accordingly. By personalized learning and adapting the predictive algorithm to each user's usage habits, Applight can provide customized app switching solutions for different users.
