Sidebar is a modern Dock replacement designed specifically for Mac. It dramatically improves the macOS experience and multitasking experience with an intuitive user interface and practical features.
Some features of Sidebar:
- Supports multiple screens. You can add a Sidebar to one, part or the entire screen and customize it individually for each screen.
- Reservation of screen space. If you enable this feature, Sidebar will prevent app windows from overlapping, saving screen space.
- Preview of windows. When you hover your mouse over an application, a preview of all its windows appears.
- Multimedia management. Sidebar allows you to control the playback of any running application directly from Sidebar.
- Organize into piles. Apps and folders can be grouped into stacks for organization.
- Built-in application launcher. You can control the system audio level or quickly turn it off.
- Integrated calendar. Allows you to quickly check your schedule.
- Access to the "Trash" folder. You can quickly access it or empty the Trash.
