Using our extensive experience in creating a range of Mac utility apps and listening to suggestions from our users over the years, we created Space Drop. We think it's the missing link when it comes to dragging and dropping items on Mac.
This app makes dragging and dropping files much easier with a handy dock that instantly appears when you start dragging a file. It creates a temporary place to store files while you navigate to where you need to dump them. This will free up your mouse and make the experience much more enjoyable.
KEY FEATURES:
• Add one or more files to Space Drop at one time. If you drag multiple files together, it will create a stack group of those files together.
• Allows you to create temporary storage space for files and folders that you need quick access to or that you need to collate before dragging them to another application or location.
• Add files and folders to Space Drop by dragging them to the drop-down window, menu bar icon, and/or dock icon.
• Choose to copy files to their destination or physically move them when dragging them from Space Drop.
• Supports multiple monitors and spaces.
• Supports almost all file types and cocoa applications, including the Photos app and Outlook.
• Control which apps Space Drop detects dragging.
• Adjust color, transparency, window position and much more.
• Works with full screen applications.
• Supports QuickLook for previewing files in Space Drop.
• Set an application to launch when you log in to your Mac.
• Switch the Space Drop window using a hotkey, if installed.
