About
GhostReader is a text-to-speech program designed for the Mac OS X platform that allows you to listen to documents in natural-sounding voices in your native language.
GhostReader Plus provides the ultimate text-to-speech solution, allowing you to quickly and easily write, edit and mark up text using speech tags. Create beautiful audiobooks, live podcasts, or proofread your script so that all the characters have their own voice. You can take full control over which language and voice to use at any time, or let Automatic Language Detection do it for you.
GhostReader Plus also allows you to listen to almost any text on your Mac. Let GhostReader Plus read selected text from other apps with full playback control, listen to Word, PDF and other documents while you do something else, export text to iTunes audio tracks for listening on the go, or use GhostReader Plus to write and proofread your work.
GhostReader Plus is currently localized in English and French, but can be used for text-to-speech reading in many languages.
