SlapMac is a viral entertainment app that transforms your MacBook into a "living" object: slap its casing, and the laptop responds with a sound effect—the volume of which depends on the force of the impact.
How it works:
SlapMac utilizes your MacBook's built-in accelerometer (requires M1 Pro or higher) to detect physical impacts.When the device is struck, shaken, or slapped, the app plays an audio response from your selected voice pack.Whether you give the laptop's casing a slap, a tap, a shake, or a smack, your MacBook reacts instantly with amusing sounds—moaning, farting, screaming, or playing punch sounds, fighting-game combos, and other effects.Key Features:
Smart Impact Detection:
• Accelerometer recognizes the force and nature of the impact
• Sound volume scales proportionally to the force of the impact: a light tap = a whisper, a hard slam = a scream
• Adjustable sensitivity
Cooldown Timer: Prevents a "meltdown" during a rapid series of impacts
• Voice Packs (9 packs, 150+ sounds):
• Woman: Expressive reactions
• Goat: Goat bleating
• Combo Hit: A cascade of sounds featuring a combo system + screen flash (optional)
• Metal / Man: New packs introduced in version 1.3.0
• And others—with the option to disable those unsuitable for an office environment
Additional Modes:
• Lid Creak: A creaking sound when opening/closing the lid (requires M2 Pro+)
• USB Moaner: Reacts to the connection/disconnection of USB devices—no impacts required
• Hit Counter: Displays the total number of "slaps" in the menu bar
