With Faxbot you can conveniently send faxes to your Mac via FRITZ!Box.
Faxbot offers you ample options to integrate faxing into your best workflow. You can open PDF, PNG, or JPEG files in Faxbot and send them, create fax documents from any application that offers you a print dialog, write and format faxes directly in Faxbot, or transfer fax documents via AppleScript to Faxbot.

Documents
If you want to send an existing PDF, PNG, or JPEG file as a fax, drag it onto the Faxbot dock icon or main window. Of course, you can also use the open dialog box in Faxbot. Faxbot also offers AppleScript support. You can send one or more PDF, PNG or JPEG documents to Faxbot with an additional recipient fax number using AppleScript. In addition, you can automate the sending process
System-wide fax function
In any application that offers a print dialog, you can also send a fax using Faxbot. Thus, the document format does not matter. Faxbot will do the rest for you. From any application's print dialog, select PDF > Faxbot
Cover
Would you like to send a quick fax without creating it in another software, or want to add a cover page to a selected document? Faxbot offers you the option to create a fax or cover sheet. Of course, you can format text and insert graphics.
